Sustainability & emissions
Circular by engineering,
not by slogan.
Decarbonization is not a brochure. It is mass and energy balances that keep residues out of landfill and fossil carbon out of the atmosphere — engineered, monitored and verified.

01 · Our position
The most honest sustainability claim in engineering is a measured number.
TOKEF exists to accelerate the transition to a bioeconomy and circular economy — not by describing it, but by building the systems that make it real: conversion plants, energy recovery schemes and emissions engineering that turn environmental obligations into operating advantages.
Our responsibility standard is simple: solutions that respect the environment, the planet and society — proposed with the highest ecological sensitivity and the lowest tolerance for unverifiable claims.
When a figure appears in our work, it traces to a measurement, a calculation or a standard. When something cannot yet be verified, we label it — including on this website.
What the record shows so far.
Figures published by TOKEF for its supported projects and programmes. Client verification of each figure is in progress — updated values will replace these as audits complete.

Circular-economy aligned practice

Four ways circularity becomes infrastructure.
Waste valorisation
Residue streams converted into energy products with defined, contractible value.
Energy recovery
Heat and power captured from processes that single-purpose plants let escape.
Emissions control
NOx, particulates and acid gases engineered to compliance — monitored in real time.
Decarbonization roadmaps
Staged, evidence-based pathways from fossil dependence to resilient clean supply.

Sustainability targets
need engineering, not intent.
Bring us the obligation — a permit condition, an ESG commitment, a rising disposal cost. We will engineer the pathway that holds.
