01 · The challenge
Mixed waste residues present one of the hardest feedstock classes for thermal conversion: variable composition, chlorine and alkali species, and demanding gas quality requirements for downstream use. The facility required a robust gas cleaning train and tight emission performance.
02 · TOKEF approach
Fuel and residue characterization to map chlorine, alkali and heavy-metal behaviour through the system.
Thermochemical conversion configuration optimized for carbon conversion efficiency.
Multi-stage gas cleaning design targeting strict NOx and particulate limits.
Process integration engineering to deliver consistent syngas quality to downstream application.
